As a runner, I have a Garmin Forerunner GPS watch that functions much better for operating, so I’m not beholden towards the chronograph or countdown time. I am glad I have them on this watch although. I missed having a countdown timer on my final watch. I nonetheless use a military lensatic compass when orienteering, but in a pinch, this compass will get you out of a jam. Sunrise/sunset, temperature sensor, alarms, automatic tilt lighting, all function just fine. I’m very happy with this item and would suggest it to other people. With solar energy, it might be the last watch I ever own.

This watch fits fine and feels light on my wrist. I believe Casio did an excellent job in generating this watch thinner than prior Pathfinder models, whilst keeping all the great ABC, solar, and atomic sync functionality intact. If you like camping, hiking, trail bike riding or other outdoor activities, this watch is a superb companion to have.

I lately bought this watch from Amazon and could not be more happy so far. I did a lot of study on these watches as I did not know much about ABC watches but was searching for a sporty everyday watch. I was deciding between the PAW2000, PAW1500, G Shock Riseman or a Suunto Core. Made the decision against the Suunto because it does not have the atomic feature or solar energy. I then chose the PAW2000 more than the other 2 Casio’s because it had a good classy look and had the two features I wanted most (solar & atomic). Also the sunrise/sunset feature is good.

It is extremely excited to obtain it. This watch was in extremely great situation when I received it, and it’s extremely light considering its size. The sensors along with other functions function extremely nicely, except multi-band atomic automatic time adjustment. Might be it’s because of the radio signal in Canada is not very great.
